The Challenge of Spiritual Language. Rudolf Steiner’s Linguistic Style

Our present-day language is so worn and ever used that it cannot deal with things of the spirit. To bring a modern spiritual view to expression inevitably involves a long struggle with the genius of today’s language to find the right words. Rudolf Steiner’s search for a language that would serve the spirit is a prime example of this. To gain understanding of his languages is also to develop an organ for insight into the spirit.
